Google makes the “Microfuchsia” operating system

Google is working on the development of the new microfucia operating system, which is activated on Android devices and inside a virtual tool.

According to Gizmochina, Google has developed an open source operating system called Fuchsia, which is designed for simplicity and security. The company has already released versions of Fuchsia that are capable of running on Pixel brand Chromebooks and Google Nest Hub smart home devices.

Fuchsia is built on a custom kernel called Zircon, which is derived from the LittleKernel operating system. According to Google, Zircon consists of a kernel and a small set of user space services, drivers and repositories necessary for core system operations such as booting.

According to reports, Google is currently developing “Microfuchsia”, a new version of the Fuchsia operating system, which is activated on Android devices and inside a virtual tool. Microfucia is designed to work on virtual devices such as Nest Hub. The newly developed version is distinguished by the fact that it works on Android devices.

Earlier, there were speculations about Fuchsia OS replacing Android in the future. But at this point in time, such an action seems unlikely. Google is currently testing the OS. One of these cases is the development of its new version, which is used on Android devices in an authorized tool.

Google has ambitious plans to bring Fuchsia OS to mobile phones, computers and smart home devices. This company released Fuchsia along with the first generation of Nest Hub in 2021. The second generation Nest Hub also had the same OS. While Fuchsia’s latest developments aren’t about replacing Android, they may lead to significant changes to some of Android’s core capabilities in the future. According to Google, microfucia is used for virtualization methods. However, the company is likely to install microfusia on Android only if the system improves the user experience or adds value.
